I have Depeche Mode's "Strangelove" stuck in my head, been there for about two days. I like it though.

Anyway, status updaaaate. I'm working two jobs now, JC Penney's optical department and still makin' pizzas. JCP is boring as fuck but it pays well and gives me good hours! I start Chinese on the 29th up at CCC, two nights a week. VERY excited about that.

I'm struggling a bit trying to cope with the fact that all of my classmates are back in school, half in India and half in China, while I am still stuck in the US. But things are wonderful here. I've met someone amazing, I'm finally making good money (or will be when I get my first full paycheck, at least, haha), I get to chill with friends on weekends - it's quite ideal, really.

It's not too hard to remember that my dream is only delayed, not gone forever. And when I think about that, with everything else that is happening in my life right now, I am the happiest I have ever been.

So happy it's kind of ridiculous. XD

Uhh, what else... goin to see Shiny Toy Guns on the 25th. Going to the club on Saturday with Shini and Jak. And oh yeah, I'm reading The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar Wilde. I'm not done with it yet, about halfway through, but I highly recommend it. I fucking love it. The prose is deliciously decadent, and the philosophy the characters put forth is wonderfully immoral and hedonistic. It pleases me greatly.

I think that's kinda all the news I've got. Mostly I'm just working. But I'm quite happy.
